Early Years

Eyiua is a unique super star in Saokan politics. His early years were a mixed bag of opulence and success. Born into the nobility of Laqazi aristocracy, Eyiua is the second youngest of seven boys and no sisters. While his brothers went off to find success in politics and business, Eyiua found a different route. He long admired the tenets of the world's only democracy, and his neighboring small nation.

Eyiua loved studying the difficult history between Laqazibolz and Univamzoy-Saoka. A history that in Laqazibolz, white-washed the many accomplishments of the small city-state and favored the imperialistic aims of the father nation.

At the time of Eyiua's birth, Laqazibolz had just become an independent empire under Emperor Oimo Raqaz. A distant cousin of Eyiua's. As Eyiua grew up, the empire had bestowed many gifts onto his family, what is called a clan, in Laqazi culture.

Eyiua admired how in many skirmishes along the border towns with Univamzoy-Saoka, its disciplined military would repel even the best soldiers and naval forces the much larger Laqazi Army could throw at it. Outlying Saokan towns such as Qosa and Zagama, were key history lessons that taught Eyiua, that if he wanted to make a difference in the alliance between the two nations, he'd have to become an ambassador at arms with Univamzoy-Saoka. And that meant dual citizenship.

Middle Years

By the time Eyiua was eighteen, he enlisted in the Laqazi Navy's officer program; and rose through the ranks. At times, he even fought in engagements with the very Saokan navy he had come to admire. At twenty-eight, he made rear admiral in the Laqazi navy, and immediately asked his father Tolzeo Raqaz, about his thoughts on becoming an ambassador at arms with Univamzoy-Saoka.

His father, a professor of history, agreed with the idea, and informed the emperor; who setup the paperwork. A year later, Eyiua was in the Saokan navy, helping to modernize that nation's depreciated navy. Eyiua soon gained respect as the “Little Emperor” for his efforts to better Saokan and Laqazi relationship within the navy.

The quiet young sailor often criticized the lax discipline within the navy, and helped setup a rewards system within the officer's rank, to encourage growth. “One magnificent thing about the Saokan military in general, is that when you give your soldiers or sailors an order, they don't just do it, they ask for specifics. That is unlike anything I've come to know in Laqazi military culture. This [Saokan] military really has a lot of promise in the way they handle business.” This scathing criticism of his own military, showed the promise of the army he was raising. It in fact, improved relationships so much with the two countries, that the Laqazi military stopped raiding the seven outlying Saokan villages, and started investing more in training the Saokan army with two more ambassadors at arms.

When Izok Miyau was elected to the Saokan presidency, Eyiua actually considered it a blessing, to advise someone with a similar racial background to his. No longer was he seen as subordinate or inferior racially to a Saokan leader. He climbed the ranks of the Saokan navy, to become the naval representative of all the naval fleets of Univamzoy-Saoka. He knew of every troop movement, navy ship position; and the funding allocated to the navy throughout Izok's first tenure.

When Univamzoy-Saoka discovered life in the universe, Eyiua had asked the navy to perfect a then ignored military advance. Orbital strike fighters and bombers were commissioned for the navy and air force by late 5770, under Eyiua's direct orders, and Izok's direct blessings. Over time, Eyiua would come to appreciate Saokan culture so much, and share it with his family; that Laqazibolz would look a lot like the small city state. His efforts not only reshaped his own appreciation for a nation he studied, but also the relationship it had with his own fatherland. And for that, he is extremely proud.
