Early Years

Izok is unique for a politician in this day and age. He's not born into affluence or money. Rather, his father was a paramedic in Olqa-Saoka's lower river valley known as Saoka Migam, or Peace River. Izok's early years weren't impressive, though he talks openly of moving to Goyau Saoka at a young age. Izok, the middle child of two older brothers and a twin, was born with an high functioning Autism like disorder known as Oewizra Syndrome. Under Olqa-Saoka's manual for mental disorders, Oewizra Syndrome affects one in one-hundred-fifty young children, and one in two-hundred adults. It is often characterized by neurological symptoms and Schizophrenic symptoms in adults. To which Izok is affected. Izok rarely was seen outside or on his own following his diagnosis of adult onset Oewizra Disorder at age sixteen, and he had to relearn a lot of basic functions growing up. How to cook, clean and even take care of basic needs. However, by the age of Twenty-Three, he was spotted by Commander Malkoni, of Olqa-Saoka's senate. Malkoni, who just recently won the elections as Olqa-Saoka's executive Statesman, took Izok under his wing. This was after a racially charged riot forced Izok to speak to the cameras and address his feelings about the political nature of his country. With Malkoni, who was the country's first elected Zalolqoite, by his side, Izok began an untethered rise in Politics. He rose from Executive Page, to Executive Councilor within the year. After Malkoni's assassination, when Izok was thirty-two, the Senate held emergency elections that would see Izok becoming the youngest and first Hodqite Statesman. Izok immediately oversaw the small city's rise as a super power.

Middle Years

By the time Izok became the country's leader on July 14^th, 5768, the city-state was under the heel of the new republic of Laqazibolz. A powerful nation which surrounded the city-state on all land borders, and was often hostile to it due to it's treatment of Hanoite and Hodqite natives. Izok opened negotiations with Laqazibolz. Then, the Laqazi administration under President Menes Dakwol, was planning an invasion of the city-state. Izok, catching wind of the invasion through informants, used it as a passive-aggressive tool to publicly negotiate with Dakwol, and form a new trade agreement. Dakwol agreed to the terms, and the two countries drafted an alliance that would benefit Olqa-Saoka big time.

Olqa-Saoka received it's first aircraft carrier, and the tools to develop its infrastructure over the next ten years. This however, wasn't the biggest takeaway. A territorial agreement that would be approved by the Senate late in 5769, would see the already wealthy and technologically advanced city state become a regional superpower. Olqa-Saoka's five thousand strong army soon swelled to three million. Roughly one quarter of it's total eligible population. In turn, it's population would grow, due to the Child First policies put into executive order by Izok, would soon see the intelligence of the country as a whole, breaking the 9.2 mark. Putting it's high-end intellectual marker in global terms, from 80.1 percent, to 89.3%. An unforeseen benefit of Izok's new programs. Finally, by making college education state mandated, and waging a war on poverty, Izok allowed a majority of it's citizens to enter the work force or go to college at a faster rate than ever. Much like the health care market place he established in 5770, the College Market place would see new plans for cheaper university rates for average citizens. It's all in a day's hard work for Izok. Who at one point was a hermit due to his mental illness, but soon saw a meteoric rise through politics as a result of it. Izok is still interested in setting up a new, formal apprenticeship program for youth and students. Picking out of a pool of the country's brightest youths, as he's fully committed to seeing the youngest among his peers become successful in future generations.
