Description
This file took all day to make. It features my newest character for my revived book The Citadel.
The actual animation - the palace and lip syncing, was all done in Blender 7.75 using the Cycles Rendering engine.
The character was made in MakeHuman unstable 1.10.
The speech, was made in FL Studio 4. (The one I purchased years ago.) using the Speech Synth.
Ultimately, I have plans on rehearsing the short speech myself. At least the introduction shown here. I won't bore y'all with the exact details on how I went about animating this, but I WILL drop a transcript of the words he says. Taken directly from the story and reformatted.
Other involved characters, include Executive Assistant John Gracy. Vice President Anthony Lowel; and first lady Michaela Sampson. It is unclear whether any military characters or civilians will make the rounds in this story.
TRANSCRIPT:
I thank you! The voters! The citizens of our seven cities. Destiny! Hope! Vestige! We are all blessed to be here on this magnificent world and players in this magnificent time! Who would've thought an educated miner would become the president of the Federated states of New America! That is why I am here! To ensure that the duties of the people's representative do not go unfulfilled! To ensure that we as one people, become and remain united!
The country he is referring to, is New America. A colonial outpost of American Union and Canadian City-State refugees from a planet Earth ravaged by climate change. Thanks to new discoveries, many of the first generation of explorers left Earth in 2608 CE. They would never hear from Earth again. While most left for Mars or the moon colony, the first generation of refugees headed towards Planet Hope - all North American by origin - are now three centuries removed from the home world, and living on Earth's Twin. As they say, this is their story.
