Devious Journal Entry

This was copied word for word from EmperorMyric 's journal, and is a very important art gathering issue. Those at fault have stolen artwork from others through Yahoo's search API, and illegally make them available for download. Again, a serious breach of art etiquette and US copyright laws. (See below.) I know it is a hefty read, but please take a look at fastimg.net/wallpaper-search and sign the petition here www.change.org/p/fastimg-net-t… to remove the site. Again, EVERYONE on DA should repost this message, and sign the petition. YOU might not think you're affected, but you are. Especially if you aren't given credit for work you've created.

Attention everyone! there is a website that is stealing art! Apparently this person has a DA account and Facebook and he/she used the excuse "all the content is taken through Yahoo API." I checked and found not only my art there but others as well. They also used the excuse that they are not doing anything illegal with the use of copyright.
Here is what is written from the site itself:

It's an automated script set to search for images online, and make them easily downloadable for people. Technically they are not doing anything illegal: The size available is the size made available by you in the preview (so the size that people can download by right-click, even if you put the deviation as non-downloadable). The DA watermark is not even removed.

However, they only state your name if you used that name in the search in the first place, and they don't provide a link. Moreover, since this is an automated scrips, they show all deviations, no matter their rules. This includes material where it's clearly stated that it should not be used outside of DA. The site even gathers images from user stash folders and dropboxes and even other sites such as tumblr.

They have stolen art from me and god knows how many other artists, it seems like most of DA is actually affected by this so I would seriously sign this and check for works of your own.
